  1. Many many many years ago, after seeing you perform in “Annie” in Chicago — at the Shubert Theatre — I became obsessed with the play and everything about it. Simpler times back then. And, one day, my best friend Muffie — who lived across the street — and I had the brilliant idea to just call you! Muffie was allowed to call Directory Assistance, back then. I wasn’t. And she found what we thought was your number. Turns out, it was your grandmother! Who kindly told us you were on tour. It was such a thrill for me and Muff. Anyway, I remembered this recently after going through a box of my “treasures” from childhood. And found the program. I sure hope you enjoyed being Annie as much as so many of us enjoyed seeing it. For me, it was life changing.

    A Fan.
